    I'll update this thread with each new build of Splody indicating what is changed and what bugs are fixed.

    After a new build is released, it usually takes 5-10 minutes before it trickles out to all logged in Steam users, so if you get an error message about having too old of a version to play online, either wait a few minutes or restart Steam and you'll immediately get the latest patch. For PS4 users, there may be a longer delay before getting a new version, however the current and most recent version should always both be eligible for online play.

    For historical changes (all from before the initial PS4 release), check out the ChangeLog on the Steam forums.

    2018-07-30 - v1.6.339 - Misc fixes

    • If a series ends prematurely, add note to set victor screen about the reason for aborting the series
    • Add Flame Speed to list of options shown to non-room leaders during level select
    • Mount power-ups no longer stop kicked bombs, except in the Mount Control game mode
    • Fix "winner" effect playing on non-active players when a Mount Control game ends due to disconnects, with no one scoring any points

    • Fix players snapping out of their square if a flying bomb landed on them and they tried to move, also causing a rare crash if they were snapped into another square which also had a flying bomb land there (bug credit: StriderCZE throwing way too many bombs at me)

    • Fix crash (caused by recent fix for very rare case) when a flying bomb lands in a flame (much more common case) (bug credit: AlbirdVampPrince)

    • Use a different method of sleeping on Linux to slightly improve idle server performance (Windows servers were already idling at 0% CPU usage, the Linux build is now closer to that)

    • Fix bug in online multiplayer where dead members of a winning team would not see the "Victory" text, despite their team winning

    • Add option (default on) to increase round time on "giant" maps (more than 27 wide or high) by an additional 30 seconds, as with the default 60 seconds on these maps players are often still stuck in a corner when the level is closing in
    • Add new "Flame Duration" option
    • Fix transitions not playing in some conditions
    • Minor optimizations to startup speed

    • Fix crash when you (or a bot) manages to try to place two bombs in the same location, which is momentarily on fire, due to network latency combined with "instant" flame speed and duration and riding a mount (bug credit: Red Spider)

    • Add support for authenticating as a Discord user for online multiplayer - if you are signed into both Steam and Discord, you can choose which to play as online in the Online Multiplayer menu
    • Allow changing username when playing LAN games and not signed into Steam or Discord
    • Minor performance enhancements
    • Fix occasional graphics misalignment when starting the game maximized (not full screen)
    • Fix scrolling in level list using laptop touch pad
    • Fix initial mouse click being ignored when focusing the window
    • Fix controller button presses going into chat
    • Fix modal dialogs looking wrong (stretched background) with render scale set to something other than 100%
    • Fix last line of text momentarily disappearing while scrolling chat history with pageup/pagedown.
    • Fix victory fireworks erupting from the previous locations of now-inactive players/bots if their previous team wins (bug credit: guy who sat next to me on a plane)
    • Fix matches that should be a "Draw" in a team game erroneously displaying as "Victory" (for inactive players/controllers)
    • Fix spacing between avatar icon and name in "Round winner:" text
